...Mike Tyler is a musical chameleon. For over two decades, Mike has recorded, toured, and written with artist such as, Billy Joel, Schooly "D", Amy Grant, Vince Gill, P Funk, SPEARHEAD feat Michael Franti, Faith Evans, Mario, L.L. Cool J, Cypress Hill, Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Mary Wilson, the Rolling Stones, Stone Gossard, and too many others to list.

Mike was in house musician and producer for Sony/RUFFHOUSE rec. during their entire exsistence. Playing on most of their releases as well as co producing the critically acclaimed cult c.d. 'welcome to America by Schooly "D". As a member of Elektra rec. act "Pops Cool Love " Mike toured the US and Europe. Mike was the Music director and arranger and the band was the back up unit for the first YO M.T.V. RAPS unplugged fet. M.C. Lyte, De La Soul , Tribe Called Quest and L.L. Cool J .Mike was in the music ministry @ Sharon Baptist church working with Bryant Pugh!

Mike recently has returned from working as in house guitarist for Scott Storch and has now finally focused his attention on the ideas inside of him. He has completed "Guitar Legend" a funky bluesy project featuring "MONTANA" on vocals. "Vocal Angel", Montana's solo project feat. A remake of James Browns "Mans World' and '2000 Days', his beat driven cyber funk instrumental c.d. which can be purchased by hitting my band website link.

Mikes latest endeavors include playing guitar on the upcoming "Nappy Roots" track "Good Day" , Writing with producer Big Al "360" Wert. Mike is still performing with his band Mike Tyler's Menagerie feat. MONTANA and doing select session work. Keep your eyes and ears open!
